MAR 26, 2019 – To ensure that everyone looking for fresh and lovely Easter cards would have truly great, original messages from which to choose, we thought, “Better call in some Cardies!” We emailed these few to whom we knew Easter has great meaning and, almost overnight, in came the words that grace our Easter offering.
It was September, and Anne Scott-Putney responded from her working vacation in Slovenia. Sisters Ann John and Carla Schmitt were hunkered down in their respective South Carolina homes as hurricane Florence passed through. Nancy McGinn wrote from home, just an hour from our Sales & Fulfillment Center in central Illinois! Susan Lyon in Cleveland penned messages while packing for a business trip to Bolivia. And the powerful prose on all our new Meanings of Life designs flowed from one Rosie Tolliver, who was cruising through Switzerland on the river Rhine.
What’s most touching and beautiful to us is that none of these gifted card writers are professionals — all are just very wise and eloquent Cardies who live by that great Leo Buscaglia quote: “Your talents are God’s gifts to you. What you do with them is your gift to God.”
We sure have been blessed with Cardies, and think you’ll enjoy your hunt for cards that beautifully reflect the Easter blessings in your own heart.
