September 16, 2022 — For all you nature lovers, here’s our fun new bird feeders design. Can you believe, in the US alone, an estimated 50 million people have bird feeders?! This one was inspired by Contributing Cardie Teresa Bender, who discovered Cardthartic at her local Wild Birds Unlimited, and we’re pretty sure spends as much time outdoors as she does in. Teresa will tell you she loves fluttering around letting nature nurture her. Three great Teresa Bender messages have already migrated to cards!
We considered heading another way with this card’s message, just for fun likening bird feeders to the office water cooler. In the backyard, just as in every workplace, you have the socializers chirping to anyone and everyone. The introverts who prefer to swoop in when no one else is there. Gossipers, who love ruffling feathers. Alas, the bully birds. And, yay, the great defenders. What’s cool is how moments of seeming chit-chat can lead to true collaboration … you never know who is going to show up and what will come from it!
If we were all circling the Cardie Community bird feeder today, I’d try to steer the conversation to new card development. Our Creative team is in nesting mode now, preparing to birth dozens of new designs for the new year, and we’d love to know what you’d add to a New Card Wish List.
Hehe, I think we can all agree that among bright birds of a feather flocked together, there will be no lack of opinions! Please share yours with us, Cardies, and thanks in advance for getting our Creative team flying in the right direction.
