December 9, 2022 — Last Monday morning, our card art curator Luda walked into the little Creative Studio we share, greeted me and “our” sweet dog Gracie, and asked how I was doing. I said that I was feeling really out-of-balance, “working and stressing too much over the January release as we want it to be the best it can be, and not resting and playing nearly enough for my own good.”
Luda seemed strangely pleased to hear this and exclaimed, “Oh! I learned a wonderful meditation yesterday!” and then shared with me the amazingly effective exercise we’ll now share with you.
Sit and close your eyes, breathe deep into your belly, and imagine you’re walking through a warm, fragrant forest. You come to a tall, beautiful waterfall and let yourself slowly and safely walk right under it.
It’s not too cold and it’s not too forceful … it’s just a clear, soothing soak. Stand there, now barefoot, under the waterfall. Feel the moss beneath your feet and the clean, clear water pouring onto you, over you, through you, washing away any emotional or physical pain you may feel.
Feel any stress and discomfort, worry, fears and sadness, all those concerns are washing away with the soft, flowing water … rolling off your shoulders, down through your arms, dripping with the water down off your fingers, your knees and toes into the mossy earth below your feet where they dissolve into the Universe.
Feel the soothing water keep falling over you until all sense of stress and pain have left your mind and body, and you’re standing there as clear, free, pure you.
Wishing you a weekend of going with the flow.

So beautiful – thank you for sharing!
As someone who has the worse cold ever (going on day 10 now) , along with so many other people I know, this meditation was just what I needed. Try to stay well everyone and go back to this meditation often as I plan to.
Post bi-lateral mastectomy, dealing with tubes, drains, bruising and of course the loss of what every woman feels defines her, this was heaven sent! Like it was created just for me. Thank you!
Did you coordinate this with Paola today? Lovely meditation & much needed.

Dear Jodee,
Thank you for sending the gorgeous picture of the waterfall and rainbow. Just gorgeous. I also loved the image of the kitten…so sweet.
I hope you have had a good day today. It has been very rainy here in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are OK as long as the house doesn’t head downhill.
I need to go on to my next mission, but I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you, and all that you’ve gone through.
Wishing you blue skies tomorrow….
Carol
