Jan. 12, 2021 — Since it was just last week that we introduced our 48 new everyday cards, we wish we didn’t have to rush you right on to valentines but, hey, the love-sweet-love holiday is coming right up here.
Come to think of it, it would likely do our hearts good about now to carve out some time, tune out the swirling world, and make like we were back in K-8 … simply sit and blissfully contemplate who should get which valentine. And while we’re at it, maybe fill up on the goodness these loved ones bring to our lives.
Cardie Dot Coltrane shared some wonderful perspective not long ago. “The ‘good’ side of a pandemic,” Dot wrote, “for me, at least, has been the opportunity to revive the joy of real mail. Cardie that I am, this strange time has taken me, with a handful of cards, past the drive-by mailboxes at the post office nearly every day.
“We all hope we’ll soon have the freedom to travel and catch up with friends and family with no more social distancing or virtual hugs. Until then, I will continue sending lots of cards all over the world. Thank you for always offering such perfect cards to carry our feelings where they are needed most.”
