Dec. 15, 2020 — On the chance you’re still looking to pick up a few bright and meaningful stocking stuffers, we thought we’d show you some Cardie-favorite fridge magnets.
The one above was conceived in the days after Justice Ginsburg passed away … one of our great Retail Partners had just placed her fourth or fifth order for the card version of the design saying, “My customers so love this lasting tribute to RBG that the cards are selling out as fast as I can put them out! You need to print this on a magnet, too.” Brilliant! It went into production soon after.
It was fun to finally see the big box of them arrive in our Fulfillment Center, and we thought we’d pass the idea along. As our Retail Partners pointed out to us long ago: “Drop in a magnet and a card becomes a gift!”
Of course, Cardthartic being Cardthartic, the opportunity to do a bit more than sell cards and magnets occurred to us …
Our crew discussed how very fortunate we feel to have income to fill the fridges that we stick magnets on, and warm homes, too. Our hearts go out to the increasing number of Americans who, sadly, are losing theirs, and we imagine there are a good many kind Cardies who are holding good thoughts for them, too. So how about we send half of every dollar you spend on magnets through the end of the year to Feeding America, the country’s largest network of food banks.
Here’s to icon RBG’s message sticking as powerfully as our little magnets: “Each thing I do comes with a heightened appreciation that I am able to do it.”
As this challenging year draws to a close, cardthartic picked the perfect person to create a magnet in memory of.

RBG was, and always will be, one of our country’s most inspirational human beings and a champion for the rights of all.
She was the “best of this best” in our great country.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be missed and remembered always.
