April 30, 2021 — It was our CEO Ana who wrote the message for the lovely anemone design you see on the art print above. (It’s printed on a card, too, while the image alone appears on a set of boxed notes.)
About this time last week, Ana emailed me, “I was testing something on the website and happened to land on our wildflowers card and, I just have to say, Joanne does an especially wonderful job illustrating flowers. Perhaps I just saw it with more intention (since I was very focused at the time), but it struck me again how beautiful this card is. All her art for Meanings of Life is great, but the flowers are especially.”
Hehe, when I phoned her over the weekend, Ana answered from her local lawn and garden store where she was buying, yes, flowers. :)
It’s been so dear and life-altering … every Friday since the start of the pandemic, my sweet 97-and-counting friend and neighbor Hannlis knocks on my door holding a big, beautiful mixed bouquet she had another neighbor grab at the grocery for her/me. And every time is a treat!
