SEP 21, 2018 – Because we’ve been holding a good thought for everyone in Florence’s wake, we appreciated this update from Cardie Ann John. “Hello from wet and dreary South Carolina,” she emailed, “where we fared 10,000 times better than our poor sister state to the north.”
We were shocked but not surprised that, here Ann was right after a hurricane, doing what Cardies naturally do: Thinking of how she could reach out and support others. “It was good to read your Thinking of You Week offer,” she wrote, “to send anyone who orders before the end of the month their envelopes already stamped. I saw the story on my phone as I was headed to my Treasure Box (that’s where I keep my cards to be on-the-ready!) I needed a pet condolence for our neighbor, and a sympathy for a colleague who let me know both about the loss of his sister, and that his assistant lost her nephew last night. So here I am today, wondering if you really know how awesome it is to always have the perfect card on hand? Thank you!”
