This Wisconsin sales rep has always been great at helping our retail partners build much stronger card sections. What’s really amazing about Mary is how she also aids our product development efforts. Our Summer 2022 cotton candy cover girl? She was Mary’s find!
Mary submitted the picture of little Grace just prior to the pandemic. “It was taken at the 2019 4th of July parade held in Wisconsin’s famed Door County,” she explained.
We loved the image but, given the subsequent need for social distancing, we all agreed the card should wait until the world was out and about again. Yay, it became Little Reminders design LR575 as part of our Summer ’22 release. Imagine how Grace, now three years older and three years parade-deprived, will tear into her cotton candy this year!
On another store appointment in February of ’22, Mary emailed us after leaving the yummy home furnishings store design a la mode in historic Suamico, WI. “Card Buyer Jessica Nuss proposes a Meanings of Life grief support card featuring pennies from heaven,” Mary relayed.
Jess herself explained, “When I suddenly lost my dad, my mom told me the legend about pennies from heaven. She said that Dad would leave pennies around for me to see if I was ever feeling down or he wanted to let me know he was thinking of me.
“I have a jar at home just for these special coins and it is now so very full! It has been eight years and I still ‘find’ Dad’s pennies from heaven, just when I need them the most!”
That makes four strong Cardthartic cards that would never have come to be without Our Muse Mary. Stay tuned!
