I discovered Cardthartic a decade ago, and have loved the line ever since. I love that the cards feature seemingly simple people, places and things that are always so much more than what they seem. My favorite is the Passages birthday card with the little girl playing hopscotch; it says that it’s when we get into the “higher numbers” that life gets most interesting. Society so loves youth that women of a certain age (like myself) might be made to feel like life is small and boring, regimented and routine. This card is a great reminder that we’re still alive and kicking! Cardthartic, keep on showing your light to the world and helping us see the good and beauty in each other.
