“I have been an RN for 54 years and still carry an “inactive” license (pride)! I have worked the entire continuum of healthcare except for the one I am currently in … being the patient. I now have the daily challenge of living with Parkinson’s Disease. Over a period of 43 years, I’ve also been a caregiver for two husbands, both of whom are now deceased. Throughout the ups and downs of my life, many special cards have given me joy, as well as added strength to get through those tougher times.
