“My name is Malea, and I am a Cardie.” :)
While on vacation in Ashland, OR, I saw Cardthartic cards, fell in love, and bought several of them. Two days later, I received word that a former co-worker had died unexpectedly. One of the cards I had purchased shows a garden chair with a hat and shawl on it and reads, “She …” and, on the inside, “was quite a lady.” The card could not have been more perfect. It is understated while powerful, and full of heart and soul, conveying the very essence of someone so precious and now gone.
In a world full of technology and social media, we seem to have lost a bit of the personal touch. I love nothing better than sitting down and writing a note and sending it to someone I love. It feels like someone got right inside of my heart and wrote so many of Cardthartic’s cards. They are simple, beautiful, and express exactly what needs to be said. Heart and soul, I am a Cardie for life!
