Cards  just make people smile. Getting one in the mail means much, much more than a phone call or a text — it’s neat and rare! — and I always find that the people who receive the cards I send love them. I think it’s just so neat to hear back from someone with a “Thank you for my card!”

I ran across Cardthartic while looking for cards on the internet one day. I looked at all the different designs, and liked each one! I placed a small initial order, received the cards along with a Big Book  — now that’s a lot of cards to look through! — and found each one perfect … for whatever the occasion is.

While it would be very hard to pick a favorite — very hard! — one card that I loved from the first time I read it, and still smile every time I see it, is #93748. It shows kids floating in the pool, with their legs up over the side. The picture is so cool, and we all can remember doing that very thing in our younger years!

A lady at my church and I recently found out that we both love sending cards … I mentioned to her that I had discovered Cardthartic and received the Big Book, then let her borrow mine for a couple of weeks. She returned it to me saying that she had placed an $80 order. I just received my own $100 order today and had to email the company that we love these cards, and that they should have seen my wife Mary and me going through that box! And, of course, I said please tell my Fairy Cardmother thanks for her sweet note.
