Shop Cat Lewis can always be found in his favorite spot atop the Cardthartic fixture in the Wild Birds Unlimited store in Springfield, IL. We spotted this fun pic of Lewis people-watching when his human, store owner Wade Kammin, posted it on Facebook.
Wade says Lewis hangs out up there several hours each day, begging interaction with those who spot him while they’re buying cards.
“Cardthartic has done very well for us for several years now,” Wade says. “There is great variety, from funny to emotional, and the pet condolences are particularly nice. One of the things I love most is that Cardthartic’s rep handles everything so it makes the line carefree.”
As for Lewis’s opinion, Wade’s guess is he’s thinking, “Oh, I thought it said CAT-thartic!”
