The fun, inviting atmosphere of the state-of-the-art Oxendale’s Market represents a fresh approach to grocery shopping. Serving the local communities of the Minneapolis metro area, Oxendale’s opened its doors in 2007 and now has stores in three locations.

Louise Oxendale is Director of Gifts and Cards, and also serves as the company’s CFO. She proudly tells customers, “Oxendale is a true example of what ‘local’ means. We live here, shop here and are dedicated to these neighborhoods we call home.”

As part of meeting her customers’ needs, Louise ensures that the stores’ greeting card aisles are well-stocked. “We have such a variety of customers, that we really need to offer a variety of lines. Carrying all four Cardthartic lines helps us do that. 

“Cards help our customers convey their feelings — love, humor, and joy — and those customers consistently tell us they’re grateful for the wonderful selection we carry. What I most love about selling cards is encountering customers in the card aisle laughing while reading a card, or sometimes they’re crying. Cardthartic makes it easy for our customers to let others know they’re thinking of them.”

 Louise says she’s grateful to have Cardthartic Rep Betsy Rockwell help her keep Oxendale’s card selection fresh and new. “Betsy is absolutely fantastic to work with. She approaches each of our stores with a thoughtful card selection that reflects each neighborhood’s characteristics. She is always tuned into what is going on, and her selection of cards reflects that.”
