We have the late great Ruth Bader Ginsburg to thank for bringing Toni so fully into the Cardthartic fold. It was soon after the world lost Justice Ginsburg, in September of 2020, that we published the Meanings of Life card in tribute to her. “I love this card!” Toni emailed us immediately after we released it, adding, “Any chance it will become a magnet soon?”
We ran with Toni’s great idea of making RBG magnets and, as soon as they reached our Fulfillment Center, sent her a few with our thanks.
“I love them!” she emailed to let us know. “In little padded envelopes that I’ll go get this week, these will be sent as far west as Colorado and as far east as Maine. One will have a place of pride on my fridge, and one will go on a work cabinet! I love them!
“I have to say,” Toni later confided, “many of my friends tell me I send the best cards, and that always makes me feel good. I’m one of those people who still sends cards for every occasion and I try hard to really match the card to the person on the receiving end. Your selection makes that easy and fun to do!”
We love the message she sent after struggling a bit to figure out how to submit her photo for this profile: “I’m a cardie but definitely not a techie!”
And in spring of ’21, Toni wrote, “I know you sometimes use cardie-submitted photos on new cards, so I couldn’t resist sending this one of my great nephew and his cat. My niece took it and gave me permission to send it to you. It’s one of my favorites. Enjoy!”
As you’ll see by the Little Reminders design below, Great Aunt Toni clearly has a knack for new products. 😉 Yay!
